RUSSIAN TIME has announced that Artem Markelov will stay with the team for a third season while Italian driver Raffaele Marciello will join the fold.
Markelov and Marciello both made their debut in the Series back in 2014 and have had differing levels of success.
Marciello has had the most success out of the pair bagging a race victory and seven other podium finishes while Markelov only secured his first top three in Belgium last season.
“I’m delighted to join RUSSIAN TIME, which impressively won the championship in its inaugural season,” Marciello said.
“I’m hoping that we can combine our experience to mount a consistent challenge for the top positions.”
RUSSIAN TIME did win the Teams’ Championship at its first attempt back in 2013 and lost out on the Drivers’ Championship title with Sam Bird by just 20 points to Fabio Leimer.
The team’s success has dropped since the death of its first owner Igor Mazepa passed away during the off-season in February 2014.
