Nobuharu Matsushita has ended 2015 post-season testing as the fastest driver after topping the time sheets earlier on in the week.

Richie Stanaway set the early pace in cool conditions until the first red flag period was sparked by Sean Gelael who spun at turn 18.

André Negrão went top when the session went green again but the red flags came out soon after when Artur Janosz stopped on the back straight. When proceedings resumed Negrão found some extra pace to better his own time at the top of the standings.

Two more red flags hit the morning session: Richie Stanaway and Pierre Gasly both stopped out on the circuit on separate occasions.

In the closing minutes Mitch Evans driving for Campos found his ultimate pace and went into first place with a time of 1:48.922.

The evening session got underway under dark night skies but it was soon halted when 41-year-old Salvatore Del Plano stopped on the circuit at the first corner. The red flags were out for just a few minutes and when the session went green again it was Evans who went fastest.

Oliver Rowland found some pace to better Evans’ time but Nobuharu Matsushita beat the pair of them with his time of 1:48.313 which kept the Japanese driver at the top for the rest of the day.

That marked the end of post-season testing and the 2015 season altogether.
