GP2 Series veteran Johnny Cecotto will rejoin Trident for the Monza weekend.

The Venezuelan is replacing Gustav Malja who made his debut in the Series last time out but has Formula Renault 3.5 duties at the top of his priorities this weekend.

Cecotto has made appearances in GP2 this season already after competing in four races for Hilmer at the start of the season and two races for Carlin mid-season.

The 25-year-old drove with Trident last season and bagged two race victories.

Raffaele Marciello will partner Cecotto.
