Robert Visoiu has been handed a three place grid penalty for holding up fellow competitor Nick Yelloly in today’s qualifying session.

Hilmer driver Yelloly was on a hot lap in the latter stages of the session when he encountered a slow moving Visoiu on the racing line at Copse corner.

The British driver’s frustration was clear from the onboard footage as he gesticulated furiously at the Romanian’s actions.

Visoiu’s three place penalty drops him from P19 to P22 on the grid for tomorrow’s Feature Race. His Rapax team mate Sergey Sirotkin will start from pole position while Nick Yelloly will begin from P11.
