Alex Lynn will be making his GP2 debut later this week when he participates in post-season testing.
The newly crowned GP3 Series Champion will have the opportunity to impress two teams in Abu Dhabi when he gets a taste of GP2 for the first time: Carlin and ART Grand Prix.
21-year-old Lynn had been targeting the second seat at F1 team Toro Rosso but appears to now have his sights on GP2 “I’m staying in Abu Dhabi for some GP2 testing this week, one day with Carlin and one with ART. That’s the next step up the ladder, so needless to say I’m really looking forward to it.”
The Briton will be the second fully Red Bull backed driver to drive in GP2 this year after Pierre Gasly made his debut in Italy back in September.
