Daniel Abt and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs have both been handed penalties following similar incidents in Qualifying earlier today.

Abt and Quaife-Hobbs were deemed to have left the circuit at turn eight and subsequently gained an advantage. The tricky second last corner on the Spielberg track was catching a lot of people out in Qualifying.

Both were handed three place grid penalties which means Quaife-Hobbs and Abt will start from P17 and P22 respectively.

Johnny Cecotto will start GP2’s first ever Feature Race in Austria from pole position.
